Cool, but I'd rather not follow the light and stay alive. lol :D It's kind of confusing to me why you wanted so much of the foreground so minimally detailed, because half of the picture is black. Might be easier to tell it's a cemetery if you picked a tombstone that seems more cemetery-ish as opposed to looking like a chess piece. Hoped that helps.

You make it seem like I don't know what I'm even doing.

I don't think we'll be seeing huge chess pieces in a cemetary.
And, the description clearly says it's a cemetary shot.
So, that's enough explanation.

And, little detail?
Sometimes I find photoshop and all that bullcrap a waste of time.
It takes away the true nature of a photo

I'm not trying to make it seem like you don't know what photography is. You're very good at it, so I believed that I didn't need to state what was amazing about the picture. You seemed like a seasoned photographer. I apologize if you thought so.

Also, I think the photograph should do the speaking. Even if a title is included in a publication, very few people even look at it. They focus on the image presented to them. Of course, everything is up for a little interpretation, but the above is my opinion. Opinion is what makes art amazing. Opinion is what gives art dimension, because nobody likes the same thing and no one likes the same art.

(I don't like photoshop either. :D It takes away from the life of the picture. I spend several hours in a position just to get the lighting from the sun just right. <3 I don't have any photographs in this account, because it's an anime account.)

Again, sorry if it seemed like I was treating you like a complete newbie in photography.

Thanks, I appreciate it. :]

I barely even haveve any of my pictures up as well. I plan on only submitting a few at a time, and see if any of them are good. Like, to see fi it's worth putting anymore up.
My photography teacher seems to be quite impressed with much of my work, though.
She says I could cut out being an art teacher as to how well I work along with all the students, and how quickly i can come up with photos for the art show.

That'd be sweet if you were an art teacher. Are you any good at other mediums? I can't tell by your gallery.

I know how you feel about putting up artwork. dA is where my art DOESN'T meet application. Sheesh. :giggle:
